The Tour organizers have kindly not only situated the July 1 prologue in Strasbourg, but Stage 1 also begins and ends there. And if you were then inclined to take in the Stage 2 start at nearby Obernai, you could even stay longer. So, you could snag yourself a room and actually stay put for a couple nights - what luxury! As of this writing, there was one hostel with space from 30 June to 2 July, and one hotel. If you’re not camping, book now.
