QuickStep: Going for Green

Team QuickStep may not have a contender for the general classification, but with current world champion sprinting maniac Tom Boonen on the squad, you can bet they’ll get plenty of TV time anyway.

Boonen is likely to try for the green jersey competition, which he was leading last year when he had to abandon the race after a crash on stage 11. Paolo Bettini, despite having just re-signed his contract with the team, will not make an appearance in France this year.
